To have a general idea of how the training conducted by our coaches at IdeaSport Soccer Academy works, when a player becomes part of our Academy, athletes are technically evaluated by the coaches to find the best team for each of the players to continue developing his or her skills.
For this reason, this evaluation stage (which is unique and individual for each athlete) is essential to give the opportunity to all players to be part of a team. It is important to understand that no player starts training with a defined team and that throughout the season, depending on the development of each player, it is possible that the coaches may decide to do some rotation or changes within a team, so that both the player and the team can continue growing, always with the objective of helping to bring out the utmost potential from each of our athletes
No, it is not. As you may have read at the beginning of this email, our academy has a wide age range, from 4 years old to 21-22 years old for boys, and from 4 to 17-18 years old for girls. This range of ages makes the diversity of athletes who choose us and join us extremely enriching, since our academy is an invitation to all children who enjoy soccer to unite in the same place with a common goal, regardless of whether they have previous experience or are just starting in this sport.
Our goal is to find the best option to support the development of each of our athletes, thinking about the academy as a whole, so that everyone can show what they are capable of!
Starting from approximately 8 years old, our athletes can start playing in official games. For our youngest athletes, there will also be a chance to have some games during the weekly training so that they can get into the development of their competitive skills.
After players are assigned by their coach to a team, given the development of each player throughout the season, they may be called up or invited to participate in official games.
However, participation is OPTIONAL. Please note, the decision must be made upon invitation to compete.
If you choose to participate in official games and tournaments, an additional fee will be paid in addition to the monthly training fee. The total participation cost depends on each team and is divided into monthly payments to facilitate payment. The budgets are determined for each team at the beginning of the season based on the planned schedules.
Each of our teams is part of a specific league. This means that if an athlete chooses to play, he/she will commit to the official games and league in which their team will be part of.
